It is human nature to want
It is human nature to want what we can't have and to wank about it, and a lot of these app devs seem to be far more human than most. Time will reward those who wait and work on there projects and punish those who spend their time venting for no reason instead of moving forward with what is offered. Its not just about Google's
Its not just about Google's silence and lack of updates, its about keeping the people who will help push the platform to its full potential in the dark. By alienating the people developing applications for the platform, Google is basically saying, we don't want this to succeed. We want Apple to continue its market dominance. While there may or may not be a new SDK that is available to only a select group, if it is anything like the last SDK update, it may break the applications people have been working on with the current SDK. If this happens again, it may push all of these developers to Apple's platform where they at least have a stable product, and can even make money from it.
C'mon already Google, give us something new, something real to work with.
I'll keep trying to keep track of new Android news and post it over at http://www.myhtcphone.com
